GOST - Státní normy Gosudarstvennye Standarty
Ruské normy Gosstandart (GOST) pokrývají více než 20 průmyslových odvětví včetně ropného průmyslu, chemického průmyslu, těžebního průmyslu i minerálních zdrojů, silnoproudých i elektrických zařízení a ropných i plynových produktů. Organizace GOST, která byla původně zřízena za Sovětského svazu, měla za úkol vyvinout a zrealizovat státní politiku v oblasti normalizace. Tato normalizační instituce byla přijata Společenstvím nezávislých států (CIS) a je spravována Euroasijskou radou pro normalizaci, metrologii a certifikaci (EASC).
