All standards from ASTM Committees F45 on Robotics, Automation, and Autonomous Systems and F48 on Exoskeletons and Exosuits have moved from Volume 15.08 to this new Volume 15.13 for the 2024 publication year.
Robotics, Automation, and Autonomous Systems—addresses issues related to performance standards and guidance materials for ´automatic´-(e.g., automatic guided vehicles) through ´autonomous´- (e.g., mobile robots) unmanned ground vehicles (A-UGVs) with industrial applications. A-UGV applications include, but are not limited to: indoor warehouse, manufacturing, and medical facilities and outdoor security and shipyards.
Exoskeletons and Exosuits—addresses safety, quality, performance, ergonomics and terminology for systems and components during the full life cycle of the product – from before usage, to maintenance, to disposal – including, security and information technology considerations. The activities cover industrial, emergency response, medical, military and consumer applications covering passive and active systems, enhancing and decreasing effects systems, as well as systems with physical and cognitive integration.
