• - Ensure smooth transitions between embankments and bridge structures,
• - Accommodate continuous welded rail (CWR) to avoid expansion joints and improve track stability,
• - Provide adequate ballast thickness to protect waterproofing and support mechanized maintenance,
• - Include noise mitigation measures, such as resilient mats, under sleeper pads, and structural damping techniques
