IEC 60758:2016 applies to synthetic quartz single crystals intended for manufacturing piezoelectric elements for frequency control, selection and optical applications. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: - order rearrangement and review of terms and definitions; - abolition as a standard of the infrared absorbance coefficient ?3410; - addition of the value measurement explanation by FT-IR equipment in annex; - addition of the synthetic quartz crystal standards for optical applications. LIEC 60758:2016 sapplique aux monocristaux de quartz synthetique destines a etre utilises pour la fabrication delements piezoelectriques pour la commande et le choix de la frequence, ainsi que les applications optiques. Cette cinquieme edition annule et remplace la quatrieme edition parue en 2008. Cette edition constitue une revision technique. Cette edition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport a ledition precedente: - reorganisation et revision des termes et definitions; - suppression du coefficient dabsorption dans linfrarouge ?3410 comme norme; - ajout en annexe dune explication pour la mesure de la valeur a par les equipements IRTF; - ajout des normes relatives au cristal de quartz synthetique a usage optique.
