1.1 The test method covers the determination of the hydroperoxide content of aviation turbine fuels. The test method may also be applicable to the determination of the hydroperoxide content of any water-insoluble, organic fluid, particularly diesel fuela, gasolines, and kerosenes. The precision of the test method has not yet been determined. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and to determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
