1.1 This test method covers the procedure for measuring the removal of overglaze patterns from tableware by dishwater detergents. It is an accelerated method that provides an evaluation of the corrosiveness of the detergents under use conditions. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard.
