5.1 This practice is useful in laboratory research on rheology of hydraulic cement systems as it has been shown to provide a paste with rheological properties similar to those obtained in a concrete from which the aggregate had been removed.1.1 This practice covers the high-shear mixing of hydraulic cement pastes. 1.2 The values stated in SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard.
