Description / Abstract: ISO 14435:2005 applies to carbonaceous materials for the production of aluminium. ISO 14435:2005 describes a test method which covers the analysis for commonly determined trace metals in test specimens of raw and calcined petroleum coke by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy. It can also be applied to other heat-treated carbonaceous materials e.g. coal-tar pitch coke, anthracite.
