Summary:
ry The Leaflet addresses all relevant aspects for the integration of environmental aspects into the procurement process: from invitations to tender to evaluating tenders with regard to their environmental performance. The leaflet is derived from the UIC project PROSPER ("Procedures for Rolling Stock Procurement with Environmental Requirements"). It is the aim of this leaflet to contribute to harmonisation of the environmental procurement framework in the rail sector at European, and in the long-term global level. By doing so the process of procurement is to become more efficient, enabling new rolling stock with a sound environmental performance to be procured more cost effectively.

Umweltspezifikationen für neue Schienenfahrzeuge

Zusammenfassung: Dieses Merkblatt behandelt alle bei der Beschaffung von Fahrzeugen zu berücksichtigenden Umweltaspekte. Es ist als Hilfsmittel für die Fahrzeugbeschaffung konzipiert, d.h. für die Vorbereitung von Ausschreibungen und die Auswertung von Angeboten im Hinblick auf die Umweltperformance. Es wurde im Rahmen des UIC-Projekts PROSPER ("Procedures for Rolling Stock Procurement with Environmental Requirements") erarbeitet. Das Merkblatt soll zur Harmonisierung einer umweltgerechten Beschaffung im Bahnsektor zunächst in Europa und langfristig weltweit beitragen. Dadurch wird der Beschaffungsprozess effizient und der Einkauf neuer Fahrzeuge mit guter Umweltperformance wirtschaftlicher gestaltet.
