V1.3.1 The present document states the minimum requirements for general communication for handheld VHF radios using the handheld class H DSC for shipborne use. Class H DSC may be used in the Very High Frequency (VHF) Maritime Mobile Service (MMS), for distress, urgency and safety communication and general communications using telephony for subsequent communications.
