Gives general dimensions, including preferred lengths, for general purpose studs, and requirements for material, straightness and identification. Notes on recommended fitting practice also included. Limits and tolerances are specified for studs with UNF, UNC, B.S.F. and B.S.W. screw threads in diameters up to 11/2 in and for studs with No. 2 and No. 4 B.A. screw threads. Status: Confirmed
